Welcome to Year 4!

I hope you had a lovely spring break.

This half term our topic is 'The Vikings.' We will be making longboats in DT, making a news report of the Viking invasion and learning all about warriors and their weapons.

In Science we will be learning all about solids, liquids and gases. We will also make our very own water cycle.

Year 4 have also been chosen to learn to play a brass instrument. WOW!!!!!

Make sure you are in school everyday to enjoy all of these lovely activities. You have to be in to win!!!!

Remember to demonstrate our school values such as respect, determination and excellence so that you can earn lots of raffle tickets for your school team.

Reminders

P.E will be on a Tuesday and a Friday. Please ensure that P.E kits are in school.

We will visit the Library on a Friday. Children can change their home reading books on this day. Book bags can be kept at home in between .

The Spelling quiz will be on a Friday morning.

Please help your child to learn the spellings sent home each week.

The children will also receive English and Maths homework once a week on a Friday. This needs to be completed and returned by Tuesday.
