We are very excited to work with you all in year one and hope that you have had a wonderful summer break! There are lots of exciting activities planned for this term, including our topic about Toys. We can't wait to find out about your favourite toy and what your Mummy and Daddy liked to play with.
You need to make sure that you have a water bottle in school and your PE kit. Our PE days until Christmas are:
Monday- Miss McIntyre
Tuesday- Mrs Bowman and Mrs Barnes.
We send spellings home on a Friday and then have a spelling quiz the following Friday. Lots of time for you to practice! In year one we also send reading books home on a Tuesday and a Friday. It's very important that we read lots at home as well as in school! Remember that number work is just as important to practice, particularly our number bonds to 10 and 2,5 and 10 times tables.
Year one is filled with lots of fun to help you learn and we know you will all work very hard and have excellent behaviour to earn lots of raffle tickets. We have included some links to sites with fun games below to help you learn.
