For Spellings, we follow 'Spelling Shed' scheme of work.
Each week, children will take part in a spelling test and their results are recorded. Children can also compete against each other via Spelling Shed. Here, teachers will leave assignments for their class to complete. Spelling certificates are given out weekly to the children in assembly for their effort.
Below, is a list of spellings from years 1 to 6.
For Punctuation and Grammar, teachers follow the National Curriculum objectives and plan accordingly. Gramma assignments can also be left for children to complete at home via the Spelling Shed website. Here, children participate in online quizzes and will apply the skills that they have previously been taught.
