Welcome to Year 1!!
We are so excited to see you all again and hope that you have had a fun and restful summer holiday!
There are so many exciting things to look forward to in Year 1. Our topic this term is Toys. What is your favourite toy? What was your Mum's favourite toy?
We have homework every Friday and our book bags are changed twice a week on a Tuesday and a Friday. We love reading in Year 1 and are always practising phonics and reading for pleasure every day.
Please make sure your PE bag is in school and we will send them home to be washed at half term.
We also love maths in Year 1 and use numbers in every day life! How high can you count? We will be looking at adding and subtraction.
