Friends of Hunts Cross met last Thursday 6th November, thanks to the new parents that came! We discussed ideas for fund raising and planned some events for later this term.
Hunts Cross will be holding it's very own Christmas Auction on 5th December, after school. We have been busy contacting local businesses to see if we can get some special auction lots! We will also be having an own clothes day on Friday 27th November to bring in goods to help with the auction. If you or your work place are able to offer an item for the auction please contact Mrs Dallison or Mrs Hindley, any donations will be very gratefully received. We will thank all those who donate and name them on both our newsletter and website.
We will be meeting in future about once a month on a Thursday morning. The sessions are a chance to have a tea or coffee, with a biscuit or two, and discuss upcoming fund raising events and ideas people have. All parents and carers are welcome, it would be lovely to have more new faces!
Our next meeting will be 27th November when we will be sorting out items for our auction on 5th December. Hope to see you there!
